Accessing Your Profile
Open your dashboard and click Profile in the sidebar, or click View Profile in the top navigation bar.
Personal Information
Your profile stores the following details:
| Field | Description |

| Name | Your display name shown to convention organisers. |
| Gender | Used by organisers for planning and demographics. |
| Date of birth | Used by conventions to verify age eligibility (typically 18–35). Not shown publicly. |
| Country | Your country of residence. |
| Church membership | Whether you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Optional. |
| Stake / Ward | Your stake and ward (congregation) within the Church. Optional. Shown to some organisers for planning. |
Click Edit Profile to change these details. You must enter your current password to save the changes.
Email Address
To change your email address, click Change Email, then enter your new email address and your current password.
Important: the change takes effect immediately — your old address stops working for sign-in at once, and you are signed out everywhere. A verification link is sent to the new address, and you must click it before you can sign in again. A security notice is also sent to your old address.
Password
To change your password, click Change Password, then:
- Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
- Enter your new password and confirm it.
- Click Update Password.
If you have forgotten your current password, log out and use the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page instead.
Deleting Your Account
You can request account deletion from your profile page. Click Delete My Account and confirm the prompt.
Account deletion is permanent. Your account, profile information, and registration history will be removed. This action cannot be undone.
Data and Privacy
RisingCon stores only the information needed to operate the platform. For full details on what is collected and how it is used, see the Privacy Policy.
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data at any time. Contact admin@risingcon.org to make a request.
